Freedom of Information Act requests
The University of Illinois System now offers a FOIA portal to submit requests. This online portal allows users to create an account and track submissions and communications with the FOIA office.
It’s not necessary to send a duplicate request by email or postal mail if you have submitted a request using the FOIA portal.
