The Sediment Materials Laboratory is a joint effort between ISWS and the Illinois State Geological Survey (ISGS). The lab provides sediment analysis services that support research on sediment transport, erosion, geological history, and engineering.
Services are available to University of Illinois staff and researchers, external collaborators, and the public.

- Hydrometer

- X-ray diffraction
